We thank Dr. Daniele Marzaroli, commercial director of Rolleri S.P.A. who kindly answered to our questions:

Can you tell us about Rolleri S.P.A.'s growth path in exports and internationalization?

Rolleri began developing foreign markets in 2001 with the establishment of the first subsidiary Rolleri Deutschland GmbH. Over the years, it has started partnerships with various retailers around the world but from 2011 to today, it continued its commercial development policy on foreign markets with the establishment of 20 branches.

Can you tell us about the relationship with CEPI Piacenza Exporters Consortium?

The collaboration with Cepi has lasted for several years and is strategic for the management of the various public funding made available. Furthermore, we underline the importance of partnership as regards the organization of the Lamiera exhibition.

Please describe the company and its products to us

Today Rolleri Spa is a very international company that has 20 websites in 20 different languages. The product range has expanded considerably over the last few years with the introduction of new product families: quick clamping systems for press brakes, tools for panel benders, punching tools and laser consumables.

What are the main tools used for promotion abroad and which ones used in collaboration with the CEPI?

For the promotion of the Rolleri brand we mainly use digital marketing tools and physical presence in the main trade exhibition in various countries around the world. The latest marketing initiative concerns the construction of the new e-commerce platform that is proving to be a very powerful tool for the promotion of all the products and services offered by Rolleri Spa. The collaboration of CEPI is particularly useful as regards the organization of international fairs and events as well as support for the use of digital marketing tools.

Rolleri Spa exports to 75 countries around the world.
The markets in which we foresee significant development and in which we are investing are USA and CHINA

Future plans:

Rolleri Spa is experiencing a strong commercial push through a transformation of the organizational model of marketing and production. We introduced new pre and post-sales concepts to create a service around products that can differentiate us. Another strategic choice involves very important investments in R&D, for which we will have more and more innovative and patented solutions. The three-year development plan that has just been built foresees significant growth for which investments in the organization will continue, with new staff hires and also in the production departments with the introduction of fully automatic systems.
