EXPORTS FROM EMILIA ROMAGNA RESIST

According to Istat data, processed by Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, between October and December 2020, despite the restart of the pandemic, the companies managed to contain the decline in exports (-1.5 percent) compared to the same quarter of the last year.

The year 2020 characterized by the global pandemic, however, ends with a bad result for the region (-8.2 percent) and for Italy (-9.7 percent). Emilia-Romagna is the second Italian region in terms of export value and limited the damage better than Lombardy.

Germany contains the fall, Spain collapses, the trend in the United States is in line with the average, while exports resume from the summer to China and manages to grow over the year in Japan.
