Since the beginning of its history, CEPI has in mechanical engineering its largest and most well represented sector of industry.
 
Even today, Piacenza is the most important Italian technological district for the production of capital goods for industry: a sector in continuous technological evolution, strongly rooted in the territory and with a unique vocation for exports and internationalization.
 
There are 35 companies associated with CEPI in the mechanical sector, with a production that embraces:

The industries served are various and address many different segments, such as oil & gas, lifting and logistics, all machining processing, but also animal husbandry, food machinery, automotive and Civil construction industry, just to name a few.

We must also remember that the mechanical engineering enterprises of Piacenza, of which CEPI represents a very significant share, is for the vast majority locally owned, based in the Piacenza area and with a class of entrepreneurs attentive and careful to the overall development of the territory in which they live and work every day alongside their collaborators.
