We thank Mrs. Bosi, marketing manager, and Mr. Rossi, CEO of Intesi S.r.l. for kindly answering our questions.
Hello Mrs. Bosi, can you kindly describe the company and its products or services to us? What was the growth path?
Hello, Intesi has been present on the business software market since 1994. In 2010 it established itself as an independent software house with a proposal of vertical ERP solutions aimed at multiple sectors of precision mechanics, molding and light and heavy metal working.
Thanks to research, innovation and attention to the needs of customers, that are called upon to overcome increasingly demanding production challenges, Intesi is today among the leading software houses in Italy for the number of ERP systems installed and interfaced machines.
From 2019, alongside the Factory ERP software, new web solutions are being developed (which can be installed on premise or in the cloud) to expand coverage to the whole world of manufacturing in general. Consequently new suites had been developed:
- LamFactory, a vertical Mes for the world of sheet metal and to make metal working digital;
- MesFactory, a Mes for total control of the factory, suitable for all manufacturing companies and all types of production of own products or on behalf of third parties: machine interconnection, automated data collection, multilevel bill of materials, production control, yields and final balances, production planning , Business Intelligence, document sharing system and internal chat.
- The suite also consists of microMesFactory, a solution dedicated to micro enterprises that want to access a cheaper but equally functional configuration
At the same time, the marketing of e-Roi began, the first automatic data collection from smartphones which - thanks to an APP - saves 60% of the time compared to traditional collection.
Today Intesi represents a supplier specialized in supporting companies in the digital transition of their production processes.
Each customer represents a project and a team of over 20 Technical Application Consultants is able to translate an investment into a measurable growth of the production reality.
Today Intesi is: over 600 customers in Italy, more than 1,000 connected machines, 15 software developers, 25 Application Consultants, 6 Help Desk Consultants, 7 Commercial Consultants
The company, already certified ISO 9001: 2015, in 2021 also obtained the EA37 certification which allows us to provide qualified training to employees and owners of the companies that purchase our solutions. Finally, a team is dedicated to the study and proposal of the best state incentives in view of Industry 4.0.
Can you also tell us about the projects you have in the field of internationalization and export and the opening of new markets?
Compatibly with the availability of a new multilingual web / cloud ERP solution, Intesi intends to define new partnerships with foreign suppliers. We do not evaluate the opening of foreign offices, but collaborations in terms of reselling our solutions, with training and commercial and marketing support from our headquarters.
Our business expansion plans mainly focus on France and Poland for 2023.
What can you tell us about your relationship with CEPI?
CEPI represents for Intesi a valuable partner with whom we have always collaborated on the occasion of primary International Fairs held in Italy. The availability of CEPI is significant and while we still operate little abroad, we are supported for the preparation and promotion / marketing phase to be ready for international markets.
What are the main marketing and promotion tools you use?
In addition to participating in international trade fairs from 2023, we plan to implement digital marketing tools, b2b meetings and specific market research.
Would you like to add something at the end of this pleasant chat?
Intesi is one of the first software houses in Italy for installed ERP systems and connected machines.
The future will see us committed to creating systems that can also be used in cloud and multilingual mode, with a particular focus on countries where mechanical production is significant.
